Angkor 05 days/04 nights

Day 1:  Siem Reap (Arrival)
On arrival at Siem Reap international airport – Warmly welcomed by our tour guide then check in.
We start first afternoon tour with the last capital of, Angkor Thom. Before going down street to see the Bayon and other temples, we stop to see the South Gate of Angkor Thom which was flanked by 54 demons and 54 gods on both sides of the bridge. These gods and demons are carrying Naga (big serpent) that symbolize the churning of the ocean of milk in order to extract the elixir of life. After south gate, continue to see and enjoy taking picture with other temples around this big city including Bayon, Baphoun, Pimean Akas, the Terrace of Elephant and the Terrace of Leper King and Sour Prat. The last destination is Preah Khan which was built in 1191 in dedication to king Jayavarman VII’s father

Day 2: Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, we start a trip with the crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat. We spend a few hours around Angkor Wat for discovering the detailed bas-relief, history and taking picture.
In the afternoon, continue to see Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, the jungle temple of Taprohm, Takeo, Thomanon, and Chausay Tevoda. Return to the hotel after watching sunset (option) on Bakheng hill.

Day 3: Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, drive about 45km from the town to see rock carvings on riverbed on Kbal Spean which is treated as the sacred river in the ancient time because of the thousand lingas (phallic symbol) on riverbed. When go back we stop to see the masterpiece of Khmer art, Banteay Srei.
In the afternoon, go to see the early-Angkor era temples of the Rolous Group (Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei).

Day 4: Siem Reap (B, D)
After breakfast, we drive approximately 3 hours and a half to see Koh Ker temple which is located about 150 km from the provincial city. On the way you will see the green view of jungle and a life style of Cambodian living in rural area. After discovering the city of Koh Ker we go back on the same way to see query bed then Beng Mealea temple which hides its body in the forest near the foot of Kulen Mountains.
At night you have dinner in local restaurant with traditional show including Apsara dance, coconut dance and more.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B)
We take a morning tour, wooden boat, to Tonle Sap Lake (best from July to February) to see the floating villages. In this village visitors will discover floating houses, floating schools, floating restaurants, floating church, floating gardens and more interesting objects. On the way back we visit Artisan d’Angkor (learn how wooden and sandstone sculpture are made, step of making silk as well) located in the provincial city and visit Old Market where you can find a large collection of local handicrafts. Then you are free at your own leisure until transfer for departure.
